  • I do not have an account with Chemsavers, Inc.  Can I still place an online order?

    No, if you do not have an account you must register to create an account.

  • How do I register?

    For first time users, click the Sign-In button on our homepage and click Register to create an account. Once you are registered, you will be able to place orders along with review order history and make changes to your profile.

  • I forgot my password. How do I reset my password?

    If you forget your password, click the Sign-In button on our homepage and the forgot your password link. Please enter your email address and click the Reset Password button. A link will be sent to your email address with instructions on how to reset your password.

Checkout FAQ

  • Why does the shipping cost show TBD instead of the actual amount?

    The shipping cost is TBD (To be determined) when you checkout as we have to calculate the actual shipping cost based on what chemical(s) were ordered. We will email you the actual shipping cost and send an invoice with a link to pay the remaining amount due.

  • What will I be billed for shipping?

    Because shipping costs can vary based on shipping method, product hazard status, product quantity, package weight and destination, your shipping sum cannot be determined in real-time as you place the order. We will send you an email notification of the actual delivered cost if the item does not include free shipping. If you require an exact amount prior to our releasing the shipment, please be sure to enter a note to that effect on your order or contact us prior to ordering at info@chemsavers.com.

  • What are Chemsavers, Inc Terms and Conditions of Sale?

  • Will my card be charged for shipping and/or sales tax after placing my order?

    Any products offered under Chemsavers label will include free shipping, but will include sales tax if the shipping address is in Virginia (VA). Please email your tax exempt certificate to info@chemsavers.com if you do not wish to be charged a sales tax. Any other vendors products will incur shipping charges along with a sales tax if shipped to VA.

  • Are orders placed online secure?

    Yes, data submitted to and from our webserver is encrypted using the Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. This protects the data while it travels over the Internet and is unencrypted for display by your computer. All data submitted to Chemsavers, Inc. is kept confidential and will not be sold to any third party under any circumstances.

  • Can an order be placed from anywhere in the world?

    The Chemsavers, Inc. website will accept orders from customers anywhere in the world, but there may be restrictions based on the product(s) ordered and the shipping location. If there are any issues with your order a customer service representative will contact you by email with an explanation.

  • What if I have a question(s) about my order?

    Email info@chemsavers.com with your question(s) and include your order number.

  • What confirmation will I receive for my order?

    Shortly after you submit your order, you will receive an email confirming our receipt of your order along with your order number. At any time, you may check the status of your order by contacting us at info@chemsavers.com. If Chemsavers, Inc. requires clarification regarding your order, we may contact you via email.

  • Is there anything I cannot order online?

    Generally, you can order anything online that we offer in our catalog as a business. Some items may be subject to regulatory review by Chemsavers or may be restricted in certain geographical areas. If there is such a circumstance with your order, we will inform you if it might cause a delay in shipment. For non-businesses the item will state in the product description if a commercial address is required.

  • What if an item is not currently in stock when I order it?

    When Chemsavers, Inc. receives your order and an item is not in-stock, a representative will notify you of the lead time so you can advise on how you wish to proceed.

  • What payment methods are accepted?

    Chemsavers, Inc. accepts Credit/Debit cards for payment of online orders. Chemsavers, Inc. accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. For custom or special-order items, we accept other payment options such as check, wire transfer, or ACH.

  • How do I use Product Search?

    The Product Search allows you to search the entire Chemsavers, Inc. catalog database using a number of criteria.

    Product Name: If you know the name of the chemical the results will show all available listings for that product from each vendor. The system will search word fragments. For instance, a search on “Ethyl acetate” will show all results with both words.

    Product Number: If you know the product number chemical you are interested in, simply enter the number in the search bar.

    CAS (Chemical Abstract Service) Number: The CAS number search allows you to enter the three-part Chemical Abstract Service number of the item you seek. NOTE: CAS numbers vary in how specifically they define the material. Chemsavers, Inc. makes every effort to provide the most specific CAS number that applies. Where a CAS number is provided for a mixture or solution, it is generally the CAS number of the solute or component referred to in the main label name.

    How to search: To begin searching the catalog, simply enter the information to be searched into the text field.

  • I can't find an item on your website. What should I do?

    If you can't find an item on our website please fill out the Request a Quote Form and a customer service representative will reply within 24-48 hours.

  • Can I have a Quote or Pro forma Invoice prepared?

    You can use the Request a Quote Form. Simply type "PRO FORMA" or "QUOTE REQUEST" in the comment section of the form. A Chemsavers, Inc. sales representative will contact you with a price quote or to obtain any additional information required to provide a quote.

  • How do I request pricing on Bulk products?

    For Bulk products you may use the Request a Quote Form and we will reply within 24-48 hours.

  • What customers will Chemsavers ship to?

    Chemsavers offers chemicals to both commercial and non-commercial addresses. Some restrictions apply and additional information may be requested.

  • What if I cannot find an MSDS?

    In some cases, an MSDS may not be available online. If this is the case, you can send us a request for the MSDS you seek at info@chemsavers.com. Since information is not available on all the possible hazards of many compounds, the absence of a warning must not be interpreted as an indication of a product's safety.

  • Can I obtain a Certificate of Analysis online?

    No, please contact info@chemsavers.com with the product number and lot number to obtain a CoA.

Returns FAQ

  • How do I return a product?

    Email info@chemsavers.com with your order number and reason for return. If approved a return authorization number will be provided with further instructions.

  • Do all products have to be approved to be returned?

    Yes, all products requested to be returned have to be reviewed to ensure they meet the return requirements.

  • When is a return or refund not approved?

    A refund will not be approved if the shipment is refused at the time of delivery. Returns are not permitted on hazardous shipments that require hazardous material shipping papers (hazmat).

  • Can any product be returned?

    No, products that cannot be returned include custom or special-order materials, leaking or damaged chemicals, items with missing or damaged labels, opened materials and hazmats with certain exceptions.

  • Can I return an opened product?

    No, when an item is opened the quality of the material can no longer be guaranteed.

  • How long do I have before I am no longer able to request a return?

    10 days from the date the material has been received.

  • Is there a restocking fee?

    Yes, a 25% restocking fee is charged on all products with a minimum charge of $20.

Shipping FAQ

  • What shipping carriers are available?

    UPS and USPS for ground and air delivery. Orders requiring freight will typically ship via TForce (formally know as UPS Freight).

  • Does Chemsavers ship to all 50 states?

    We ship to the lower 48 states. Please use the Request a Quote Form for faster service if you are located in Alaska or Hawaii.

  • Does Chemsavers offer international shipping?

    International shipping is offered to commercial and educational facilities on a case-by-case basis. Please note that there are restrictions on certain products, and some materials are not permitted to ship outside the US. Please use the Request a Quote Form for faster service.
